Dynamic kids rock band The Mik Maks are coming to Swan Hill to take over the family farm.
Incorporating animated projections, a handful of unreleased songs and a brand new character, the show is inspired by the McInnes brothers’ own experiences growing up on a farm in Wickliffe, Victoria.
Part stage show and part concert, The Mik Maks break the mould of kid’s music with their high-tempo, intelligent and catchy country rock songs.

Print & Drawing Awards

Celebrating printmaking and drawing, these long-running awards see some of the finest contemporary works on paper from across Australia.
With the exhibition showcasing the work of finalists, the 2018 Awards will also incorporate a program of workshops and talks by artists. And leading up to and during the exhibition, artist Judy Holding will oversee a major community art project entitled Swan Hill’s Biggest Print.

Paul Oswin has a passion for the plants, animals and landscape of the Mallee region.
This exhibition of birdlife uses expressive marks and bold colours to capture the bird’s physical likeness, character and the impression of its environment.
His approach shares similar philosophies to sumi-e painting. Sumi-e painting is a Japanese style of monochromatic painting using ink, brush and paper that aims to depict the spirit of the subject, rather than a detailed resemblance of it. In his current works, Paul has adopted some of these ideas and combined them with expressive use of watercolour and coloured inks.
