Rockfest Swan Hill is a concert featuring five acts.
Headlined by Australian music icons Daryl Braithwaite and Shannon Noll also featuring Chocolate Starfish, Reece Mastin & Taylor Sheridan and a local band. This is an outdoor event at the Riverside Park soundshell.
Murray Cod Season Open
1st of December
Murray cod, Australia’s largest native freshwater fish, are caught in western drainage rivers and dams in the south east of the country. Whether targeted from shore or by light watercraft, Murray cod provide great sports fishing and will readily take a wide range of lures.
Victoria Karting State Cup
2nd and 3rd of December
Be there for the biggest end of year race meeting in Victoria with the prestigious “Black Plates” awarded to the class winners of the 2017 Victorian State Cup!
The race is being held up at the sunny and beautiful Swan Hill Kart Club on December 2nd and 3rd, at the fast and flowing Sun Centre Kartway circuit, located at the Swan Hill Motorsport Complex, Sea Lake / Ultima Road and is home to one of the best corners in Australian Karting the spectacular, g-force generating, “Thunderdome” banked turn!
Forest of Christmas Trees
6th & 7th December
Every year Swan Hill Neighbourhood House puts a call to the community for tree decorators for this event. Our generous sponsors provide funding for the frames and our wonderful volunteers provide the creativity. The exhibition lasts for two days and on the night of the second day we hold an auction of the trees to raise money for the beneficiary/beneficiaries and the Neighbourhood House.

Showcasing the hauntingly beautiful collaboration between Del Kathryn Barton and Brendan Fletcher, this milestone exhibition traces the interpretation of Oscar Wilde’s 19th century classic through an artistic lens. Featuring a screening of their award-winning film alongside material from the production archives, Del Kathryn Barton: The Nightingale and the Rose reveals the workings behind this captivating animated picture.

These two local retired professionals John Harrison and Andy Millar, have been quietly developing their artistic sides for nearly a decade. In this, their first exhibition, they present an enthusiastic and eclectic mix of colour, light and form.

The Swan Hill Farmers Christmas Twilight Market will be the perfect opportunity for your last minute shopping. Get your fresh produce or pick up the last minute gifts from one of the great local stalls.
Christmas Shopping Festival weekend
16 & 17 December
Extended trading hours: Saturday 16 Dec 9 am – 3 pm & Sunday 17 Dec 10 am – 3 pm. Father Christmas will be around to have your photo taken, face painting, gift wrapping, music and more.

1st Saturday of the Month
More than 200 stalls at the market with fruit and vegetables, local hand crafts, plants, tools, fishing gear, clothes, shoes and hardware. (45km south east of Swan Hill.)
1st Sunday of the Month
Each month we average around 20 stallholders presenting a wide range a fresh, regional produce.
2nd Saturday of the month
This market is held at the Nyah Recreation Reserve Trotting Track and has around 25 stalls selling everything homemade and home grown. There are food stalls and local attractions and a playground. Dogs are allowed on leash.

3rd Sunday of the Month
There are around 30 stalls selling bric a brac, plants, produce, assorted goods, books, craft, clothes, local produce and much, much more.
